My boys find Cbeebies too young now ,struggling to find other quality shows. If I let them they'd only watch Oggy and the Cockroaches

Some episode prog recommendations would be good as it's for after school and films are too long.

Pref non scary too as dtwin 1 is quite sensitive -thanks!

You can get DVDs of The Magic Key (based on those dreaded Oxford Reading Tree characters!) which is meant to be educational and is in episodes. If you can get hold of them you get a lot of episodes on a double DVD set.

WE bought a really cheapo DVD recently of Roald Dahl stories and the kids love it.

Bought a series of Land Before Time DVDs recently too - they are good but are just over an hour long so maybe too long for you.

I find that on the whole mine have progressed to Nick Jnr now so look at the shows that are on there.

Ds's favourites are Thomas but that is an obsession, Little Einsteins, Wonderpets and The Wiggles.

ds1 (6.5y) has liked Raven for a good while now. I record it when it is on for playback whenever.

Until v recently he has happily watched cbeebies with ds2, but in the last few weeks has wanted cbbc or citv on instead.

Tractor Ted, and other documentary films for children. Your local library Might have some you could try out.
Tractor Ted films are all farming based- so there is an organic farm one, a bread making one, a winter on the farm one etc

2nd Scooby Doo. Dd (5) loves Little Einsteins, Mickey's Club House.

my 5yo ds likes scooby doo as well but also dvds of The Flumps strangely.

My ds also loves The Clone Wars cartoons but they are probably a little bit too old for him. You can record the whole series on Sky+.

I second Tractor ted - they're only 30 mins long and well made. The songs are annoyingly catchy too.
