How to make changing 9m old DS's poos less disgusting?

hi, we're using shaped nappies and have done since DS was 2 weeks. We use nappy liners (tots bots spun liners) but even then changing his pooey nappies has become a bit of an ordeal - the liner is pretty useless and we end up having to scrape bits of carrot etc out with toilet tissue

I'd love some advice on what types of liners etc might work. fleece isn't any good at the moment because his poos are too sticky, possibly because of teething.

I think this stage is the worst. Ime for the first few months of weaning onto solids it is rather obvious at times what they have been eating.

Perhaps try different liners - you usually buy them 100 at a time so a different type might suit? Do you rinse the nappies prior to washing them (I always pre rinse in the machine). If you do you may not need to be quite so vigilant with the carrot scraping!

As time goes on they chew better and seem to digest it so it looks more like poo iykwim (rather than bits of food in sticky poo -yuk)

I would suggest avoid raisins and sweetcorn for the time being

try doubling the liners up, one across the nappy and one top to bottom. that works for us as it catches the soilds better.
agree try different types as well, some are thicker and the more expensive ones stay put better ime.

also scraping off with an old spoon works better then tissue
