Both DS's at school. I do a long dog walk every morning with a different friend each day. I run with a friend 3 times a week. This takes up much of my time. Obviously I then have the boring household chores and shopping to do and get tea ready before school pick up. I did work until DS2 was in year 2 and don't really know how I managed it

It seems easier now I have two for some reason. Things are more organised (or maybe I am!). My daughter is at nursery every day from 12.30-3 so the mornings are the only bit I have to kill as I do the housework between 3 and 5 then do their dinner then it is the leadup to bedtime at 7. On Mondays we hang around the house for the morning, Tuesdays we do a playgroup, Wednesdays I work so they are with their grandma and go to another playgroup, Thursday we go to playgroup, Friday we meet with a friend and her kids at a soft play place.

I found before I had this routine I felt like I would go mad if I had to look at my house anymore! Also I felt guilty having the kids in front of the TV all day while I was on the PC (did this a lot last year as I was planning my wedding!).

Will be strange when my daughter starts school in Sept and I have one child all day. Will have to try and stick to the same routine and possibly put him in nursery a couple of afternoons a week so we don't drive each other potty!

Hmm well sometimes very little apart from meals and kids playing. Other times visiting people, not every day. Cleaning, computer, housework, Nursery run 8 times a week with 2 kids. Shopping. Should do more in the garden and more cleaning really but it means i'm always doing that and nothing with the kids.

Monday am - ds1 to preschool, dog walk with ds2
Tuesday - am Toddler Group or have friends round or go to them
Weds am - ds1 to preschool, dog walk with ds2 or pop into nearby town for shopping
Thurs am - toddler group
Fri am - tend to keep clear so we can go somewhere (garden centre, farm, walk in country). Sometimes have friends round.

Don't tend to do much in the afternoons. By the time ds2 has napped it isn't really worth going out. Sometimes do painting, sticking, reading, jigsaws. Other days the dcs just do their own thing (mainly playing with cars).

I did an awful lot more (swimming, soft play, art class, music class etc) when there waas just one, but I find it near impossible with 2 dcs.

In nice weather we spend all afternoon outside - garden or local playground.

op - I am the same as you. have dog to walk also and take dd to two toddler groups and a rhyme times at the library. ds has after school activities twice a week, oh and dds swimming class will begin again after easter.
Sometimes it feels like there is not enough time to do all the housework and i frequently feel a bit of a failure tbhbut, dcs are happy enough and that is the most important part at the mo

Allotment (and I volunteer to do the sch allotment), garden, cut the grass, chop wood for the fire, let hens out, get hens back in, do a weekly shop, go on endless hospital appointments with dd2, and occasionally housework or ironing. Oh yes, and I cook - lots.
All mine are now at school (well today dd2 is off with chest infection and is watching Mr Tumble on repeat as I write this)
