... on Mother's Day. Thanks, sweetheart.
I thought children didn't really do this. THANK GOD I had just taken her 5-year old sister out, because I think she would (understandably) have been quite upset. Neither of them have ever done this before. Not sure whether this is a one off, or should I not bath them together again for a while? Anyone else had this happen?

All three of mine did this at various stages and all three would grab it and smear it every where

dd did this once when she was about 20 months old and terrified herself. I was next door in the bedroom when she started screaming and rushed in to find her pointing at the crap bobbing beside her:

'Poo mummy, POOOOO!!'

I think she genuinely thought someone else had done a crap in her bath just to freak her out. It was the look of disgust that made me giggle.

'What BASTARD did a shit in my BATH??'

Yep, pooing in bath going on here too!

DSs 1 and 2 have done it on v few occasions when little, but that did not stop them from being shocked, appalled and outraged when DS3 aged 1 did it also on Mother's Day!! It was fine, Daddy was organising emergency evacuation of the bath, until DS3 delivered 2nd, softer "helping" - and then stood in it which ensured even distribution..... Much shouting ensued, DH probably most distressed and he wasn't even in the bath, and frantic showering followed.

PMSL at notyummy's DD - I forgot that reaction: DS1 also used to look for the purpetrator

My dd did this from time to time - the first was at a few weeks old when it came out in my hand [boak]. She has had trouble getting to grips with her bowels - it's either all or nothing with her so when she has pooped in the bath, I hoik her out and then empty the bath with as little fuss as possible. One way of cutting bathtime short . I think someimes the warm water relaxes the bowels especially if they're prone to hanging on.

LOL at notyummy' DD
Mine was just the same
We have had a few poo in bath incidents but the one that I recall best she was 16mo and we were on holiday in a B&B with a bath that didn't drain too well..
I had turned my back to get a towel and when I turned round again she was holding something out to show me saying, 'look mummy a poooo' as though she had no idea how it could have got there!
