I have been attempting potty training with DD. She's been mostly dry since friday (except in the playground when picking ds from school )but today we've had a very odd day.

I dressed her this morning at about 8ish in pants and clothes. Shew refused a wee all day til just before bed at 7pm. She wee'd on her potty

Will she make herslef ill or something. She'd had 4 cups of apple juices today

This is normal, alot of children get carried away with what they are doing and have accidents.
Just remember that YOU are the boss, not her. Get this control back. It won't be easy but she needs to listen to you and do as she's told or it will be really hard for her at school. Just be firm and consistent. Don't bargain with her, have the 'this is how it is so tough' approach. If she doesn't want to sit on the loo then put her there, don't let her run you. Use the doll to show her it's not scary.

If you show her it's OK to use the loo outside home then she'll be more comfortable.

blushingm, the only thing that occurs to me is to model the behaviour for her - you could go to a friend's/relative's house, drink a lot and then go to the loo there several times (although I know you said you prefer your own). It might help to convince her how OK it is to go to the loo elsewhere, and hopefully she might follow suit.

gecko has just trained herself and can go for hours too
she also wakes up with totally dry nappies and has a 'niagara falls' pee when she wakes up lol
