Before I splash out a tenner on one of these - are they any good?

They are better than an ordinary brush, but not perfect.
DD still whinges about having her hair brushed, but perhaps not quite so much.
Nice brush though, and easy to use.

got one on ebay recently - I'd say yes they do! My own hair gets really knotty and this gets through it with barely a twinge - my mate tried it on her sons afro hair yesterday and he didn't flinch. Well worth a tenner in my opinion.

Definitely - hairbrushing was a major issue in the Boot household - much better now.

Perhoas my DD is just particularly whingy then

Looby4 · 07/03/2009 20:19

Definitely - DD has Aspergers; can't bear to be touched or brushed. This brush is great - only one she can tolerate.

Lindenlass · 07/03/2009 20:19

yes. d2 has wild, frizzy, curly hair and will only let is brush it with the tangle teezer

CompareTheMeerkat · 07/03/2009 20:22

I think I might get one for DD who hates hairbrushing

castille · 07/03/2009 20:25

Have recently bought one for DD2 who has very thick, tangle-prone hair, and it is better than a normal brush but not entirely pain-free when it's wet and windblown

MakkaPakkasPacamac · 07/03/2009 20:50

Great, thanks everyone - think I will get one then.
