Pretty constant bedwetting when I returned to work - what to do?

DD1 is 3yrs 8mths and has been dry during the day since she was about 2 1/2 and dry at night since last spring. The arrival of her little brother had no impact but she has pretty much been bed wetting since I went back to work before Christmas after 10 months mat leave. We did had two weeks of dry knickers over Christmas when I was off work! DH is getting pretty fed up with it and the constant sheet washing. Spoke to HV a couple of weeks ago who said not to worry, she is still young and to try pull ups/nappies until she is dry again. DD became really upset when we suggested pull ups, she wore them for two nights and each morning woke up begging not to have to wear them again. So back to knickers and wet sheets. She has now wet herself at nursery two days running...

Feel like an awful mum because this all started when I went back to work and can't seem to break the cycle. Any ideas?

Apart from you being at work what has changed - ie has her fluid intake decreased, are her childcarers not toileting her regularly?

Usually a change in domestic arrangements leads to wetting because the daytime drinking/toileting routine has gone to pot. Have a look at what's going on and if you can get it back on track it should settle down.

I haven't seen them myself but have you seen Minki yoyos? They are washable pull ups and have a fleece outer so she may be fooled in to thinking they are knickers. Her wetting of a night could then be less of an issue for her and your DH?

oops - I have seen them. I meant I haven't used them myself.

Thanks for the advice. I've ensured DD drinks plenty today and has been to the toilet regularly and so far so good today...
