Question about liners

I've been gagging at dealing with the poo side of things since becoming pg and it was suggested I use paper liners.

Just a quick (possibly stupid) question...

Can I use paper liners along with a fleece liner, or on a fleece lined nappy and still get the 'stay dry' effect?

Hmmm no you don't get the stay dry affect with paper liners.

You can get some diposable synthetic type liners, I had some boots ones given to me - they would work.

Can you flush them? Are they biodegradable?

the ones I had weren't but they were ancient about 8 years old! I'd have a look on the internet and see what there is.

Seems to be lots of cellulose around. Would that work?

No idea!!!! I think they would be better than paper though.

Well I used to use the cheapest thinnest possible flushable paper liners, (peachy cheeks ones from ebay) and lay them over a fleece liner. That way the worst of the poo could be flushed, but there was some back up because they do tend to scrunch up. We did not really have a nappy rash problem so must have been reasonably dry.

Cargirl I think you can still get those Boots liners but they aren't flushable.
