I am panicking as I've just found small amounts of blood in my baby's nappy. She's 7 weeks old. Has anybody any experience of this?

Yes took our baby to out of hours surgery. She was fine didnt really know what was wrong in the end (probably slight milk intolerence). Never happened again. Any other symptoms? If at all concerned phone NHS direct.

Thank you for your messages. Doctors Wife, that sounds exactly the same as I found in my dds nappy, sort of bloody bogey like. She has had green nappies also but I was told by the health visitor that this is not abnormal. She is fine otherwise, I don't think she can be dehydrated as she feeds loads and has been putting on a lot of weight.I'm taking her to the doc this morning, so we will see what he says. Thanks again, it's good to know others have experienced the same and all was ok in the end.

I just wondered if you had resolved problem with blood in baby's appy. My 9 week old son has had this problem for 4 weeks now and have had him to A&E and HV. Told to cut out dairy from my diet as breast feeding but has not helped. Back to Dr today.

How long have you had dairy cut out of your diet for? It takes 2-3 weeks to get it all out of your system. Green could be fore milk/hind milk imbalance. Have a poke about on www.kellymom.com
