Bambinex and Easy Peasy nappies

Have been been getting excited about buying new nappies for impending new arrival (in summer, so a while off).

What do people think of Bambinex bamboo nappies (previously Bambineo) and Teddies from Bambinex microfibre nappies?

And the Easy Peasy nappies - Bambeasy (bamboo) size 0 or Bimble (terry) size 0?

Also, are Swaddlebees worth the money?

Ooooh! I luuuurve the bambeasy! It's gorgeous! Both the one size and the small sized ones. The onesize is really clever!
No too keen on Bambinex though - there are better nappies out there

Ooo - what did you prefer Quidditch?

These are the main nappies we use for our 4 mo old dd.

First we had the size 0- bambeasies - they are fab and very cute.

Moved onto larger Bambeasies, but find them quite bulky, good for night.

We use Bambinex in the day - personally I find them fab. And shallow I know but we have blue & green and they are so cute!

Note of caution for the Bambeasy -do not get Nippa fastening! The Nippa doesn't grip the bamboo at all as the terry is too flat. My lovely Mum sewed velcro on it for me! Otherwise, Bamabeasy/Bumble are lovely nappies.

So the aplix Bambeasy is a good nappy then?

Ooooh ok - we have nippa bambeasies and no probs.

I love the Bambinex, especially because my DS is very slender round the hips and thighs and these nappies are cut quite slim so are not as bulky as some of the other brands I have.

I love bambinex they are fab, BUT I didn't use them on a newborn not sure how they'd be on containing breast fed exploding poo as they are slim cut across the bottom. I used bumbles from birth and bambinex sixe 2 I reckon could be used from around 12lbs or so and would then give better bum coverage!

FaintlyMacabre · 19/02/2009 22:06

Maybe I just got a dodgy Bambeasy - whenever I used it the Nippa came off within minutes leading to potential nippage of delicate baby parts!

I've used 'Bimbles' on our LO and they are great. A good wrap is essential though: Motherease are fab, and I've been very impressed with 'Lollipop'/'Onelife' too (Same company? Not sure).
A friend just lent me some older Kushies (AIOs) that she bought from a nearly new sale, and they've been great so far.
Good luck!

Ooh Bambinex are fab, we've used them for DS since he was 9/10 weeks old, put him straight into size 2. He is fully BF and they contain the poo very well. We used to have to change the outer wrap due to poo reaching it sometimes but not always, not a problem now that he's on solids as well.

We bought the size 2 and started using them right away, because they are pretty slim fit you don't end up with too much nappy. DS is quite chunky of thigh but they fit him very well.

No issue with nippa bambeasy here either.

Bambinex are cut very high, so unless you get the nippa ones which wyou can fold over and adjust the rise they can come up too big round the legs - great nappies though.

Bambeasy tend to be a more forgiving cut, and the size 0 of any of the easy peasy nappies is gorgeous.

Never been overly impressed with swaddlebees. The newborn ones are gorgeous though.

I use the bamboo ones. They are lighter and absorb more than terry but they take longer to dry.
