Help! How can I stop him weeing himself?

Hi,
My DS has been in pants for 4 months now and most definitely knows when he needs a poo and wee. He can also get himself to the loo. However, at times he just wees himself. It is usually when he is watching the tv. Its enough to warrant a change of clothes but doesn't seem to be a full wee - if you know what i mean. But today when I was at playgroup I saw him walking funnily, pulling at his trousers, but still on playing. When I went over I saw he had just done a wee but thought it ok to carry on playing.

I feel really frustrated. Do I punish him? Im starting to think that i must, but i don't want to make him regress. Any advice grafully received.

Do not punish him he is only little. Boys are easily distracted and can go on for many years peeing in their pants! Just keep taking him more often to the loo and praise him when he has stayed dry.

Try a 'My Wee Friend'! They're great little black stickers which you stick on the bottom of your potty. When they're wee'ed on they change to a bright little picture - car, smiley face whatever, and then they turn black again ready for next time. Great reward for reluctant potty users!!

It's a phase. It will pass. What happens when you say "let's go and have a wee" when you know it's about that time?
