DS (in cloth nappies) has sore patches on the inside of thighs - any suggestions of how to make it better?

DS2 is 12 weeks old and has been in fluffles from the early days but has recently developed sore patches on the inside of his thighs. It's not the wrap as it doesn't sit there but I can't think why the nappy would make him sore there and not anywhere else?
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Def friction - check fit of nappy and wrap - put some vaseline on to ease soreness.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think the nappy could be too tight then?

DD has that too, I also thought it was the wrap but I only use a wrap once every other night now and she still has them.

My ds has a wool wrap at night but that doesn't seem to make much difference. I'm trying the vaseline tip at the moment but I can't see anything paricularly wrong with the fit.

how low do the nappy seams sit compared to the sores? if they're level they may be rub marks, you could try pulling the nappy upwards when doing it up to keep the seams in the leg creases rather than rubbing on the legs so there's no room for movement? Fluffles are polyester aren't they? maybe they are doing too good a job of keeping the skin dry and are actually drying it out? Maybe try a more natural fibre next to the skin? I find if I use man made yarn fibres such as acrylic, it dries out my skin and makes it crack whereas proper wool doesn't.

I've just changed him and have tried pulling the nappy up and in to minimise movement (hope it doesn't affect containment!). The marks are at the edge of the nappy I think. They are size 2 fluffles so they are big on him - maybe it's due to that?
Not sure about the fibre thing. I've got 20 odd fluffles (had them for DS1) so I'm a bit reluctant to change to something else!).
