Dry at night

Hi Ladies

We have been toilet training DD (24 months) for almost a week now and she is doing incredibly well. we haven't had more than 6 accidents in total and non in the last three days. Her nappies on a morning though are still increadibly full. Do i just ignore this and continue with nappies at night for another 6 months or so or do I stop giving her drinks after a certain time at night? Im a bit confused. Im not sure if she is just wetting her nappy because she knows she can, as we went to soft play the other day and i made her wear a nappy and she just wet it without telling me she needed a wee.

Carry on with nappies at night until she is dry in the morning. You don't "teach" them to be dry at night, you just wait until they're ready.

(And I say that as someone whose DSes were dry in the night by 3.5, which is pretty early for boys.)

It might be an idea to try not using a nappy, perhaps she is using it because its there, like you say at the soft play she did this. If you want security of a back up then lay a towel under her in bed. Maybe she is mixed up not knowing if she needs a nappy or not?
She's doing incredibly well though, good on you.
