disposables leaking up the back

DD1 is in cloth nappies - but as DD2 is only5 weeks, I've been using eco-disposables for her to start with, as I'm not sure I could keep up with the washing for two just yet. However, I've found that on quite a regular basis, the nappies are leaking up the back. This has not been because they are really full nappies or anything - just pee, not poo, and generally not much pee at that... the rest of the nappy isn't that big.

Whether it is because she is lying down or something I don't know - but we are getting through loads of damp babygros each day! Maybe she just pees in an awkward direction!! I guess I'm just used to cloth nappies that go all the way round, and disposables do seem to have a gap as the main padding is obviously in the middle. I wonder if I am doing something wrong... .but wouldn't have thought you could with a disposable????

Any tips???

Both of mine were breastfed and for the first few months DS1 had explosive nappies. Unfortunately it was a bit like pick your poison - pampers would frequently up the back, huggies leaked a lot more often and went up the back.

Pampers new baby leaked the least often but still once a day (in a variety of sizes). Maybe putting a Motherease Airlow wrap over would help.
