About to use cloth over night for the first time, what should I use from my stash?

DS3 is 11 weeks and we have been using cloth since he was 6 weeks, but were still using disposables at night to use them up. He used the last one last night, so tonight it's cloth and I am a little nervous of leaks from my fairly heavy wetter.

From my stash, I was thinking of using either little kiwi quick flips (think they are cotton rather than bamboo), a tot bots, think it may be a fluffle (was pre-loved) or a medium nippa bamboozle, but I am really not sure which would be the best. Any thoughts?

The rest of my stash includes BGv3, a little lamb (in the wash) & a BBOS.

Does your Little Kiwi QF have the bamboo booster? If so we used that successfully. Can't comment on the others as have never used them.

If you have any extra boosters you could maybe stick one in as extra absorbancy.

I do have a bamboo booster that came with a bambinex nappy we had for ds2 or the boosters from a baby behinds which I am sure are bamboo. Thanks for the suggestion, I purposely bought the QF's with the idea of using them as night nappies (although in hindsight, should have bought the size 2's as he's a right chunk!) I am a little nervous of making the wrong choice and him ending up wet. He's sleeping a 9 hour stretch now and I certainly don't want to wreck that

Out of your list I would only entertain the idea of the Kiwi or the Fluffle (Fluffles are very fluffy, white, with a fleece 'pocket' and a tongue). I think you'd be better off boosting as well either with a booster that you've got or go and get a dish cloth and stick it between the wrap and the nappy (if it's the Kiwi), or in the pocket if it's the Fluffle. You could use a flannel or something that is absorbent. What wraps will you be using?

Ideally none of your nappies are really night nappies, well the Fluffle can be but only if it is actually a Fluffle, and I have heard people using Kiwi's but I had one once and wouldn't have used it regularly as a night nappy although I did use it once! Have you been getting up and changing in the night before now or does he go through?

I haven't changed him at night since he started going longer stretches, so about 5-6 weeks. He now does 10.30-7.30, has a quick feed and then back down until 10ish. I am thinking that I wil incorporate a nappy change at his 7.30am feed now.

Hmmm, had a quick look at the tot bot, it would probably be fluffy if I tumble dried (hard water area here), it's a bit crunchy and has 2 tongues, one the same material as the nappy and a fleece one on the top. They should just specify on the lable, lol!

What would you suggest as a night nappy? I have heard good things about night notions, but I don't really like popper nappies as I can never get them to fit right

Opps, forgot to say that I have motherease rikki wraps or a couple of weenotion wraps. I also have cotton bottom wraps but they are both in the wash.

The Rikkis and the Weenotions wraps should be fine.

I find Bambinex bamboo nappies with 2 of their boosters in work fine overnight but if you can spend a bit more I think the Berry Plush with an extra couple of cotton or bamboo boosters work superbly and they don't need a wrap.

Thanks! For now he's got the tot bot on, boosted with a booster from a baby beehind (which incidentally I finally found while searching through all my stash... might have to give that a try as I bought it before ds3 was born) and a rikki wrap. I guess the next few nights will be trial and error and then I can buy a few more of what works for him. Fingers crossed it takes him 9 hours.

I don't think that Tots is a Fluffle hun, it sounds like a regular Tots Bots Cotton, in which case it is unlikely to last the night although with extra boosting it might and with the change that you'd planned. Fluffles can't go crunchy even in the hardest of water areas as they're made from microfibre.

The Rikki wrap will be fine for nights, I've never used one but Motherease are fine, I've not tried the Weenotions wraps so can't comment.

I have just put my DD in a Night Notions for the third time, so far I have loved it, not even fully saturated after nearly 12hrs so think I'm finally done looking for night nappies, wooop!
