What don't you have time for?

OK, Blu has confessed to not having time to change a leaky tampon (!), the other day I thought to myself, 'I don't have time to eat an apple!"
Of course, if I wasn't on MN I would have time....but anyway...what don't you have time for anymore.

I miss relaxing too. Never seem to get time and when I do, there's always something that needs doing. I'm always pottering around. I cant even watch a program without flicking through the menu to see what else is on later or another day.

I also miss going to the loo in peace without 2yr old DD telling me about my every action and getting the toilet paper ready for me!

I miss going on my moterbike. Because if I didn't have a child, I would have a huge moterbike.

The sad thing is I do have time to do housework, read books, watch films, wax legs etc etc when ds is asleep.... but what do I do... mumsnet!!

Donbean · 06/04/2005 21:10

When ds is asleep i have to do mundane chores. What i mean about reading is that pre baby on my days off from work i would get all my jobs done on the first day then emerse into a book and let the time just run away. I wouldnt know what time it is and would not have to put the book down for a single miniute. Now to be interrupted when ds wakes would be so very very upsetting...especially if i have got to a good bit!
