My 8m old dd was wened at 6m off BF to formula over about 6 weeks, and food introduced at same time. She went from the usual BF poo to "adult" poos ie: formed and could flick down the loo off her nappy - mainly terries. Then she was really poorly with awful cold/cough for a couple of weeks and teething, so no surprised to get really runny splatty poos for a while. Dh dd and myself all a bit grotty over last 6 weeks with various minor lurgies. Her appetite has been poorer for solids but taking extra milk and water so not too concerned about this. However her poo is still extremely runny, often leaking - having to use disposable at minute as no way could scrape poo off usual nappies. Only going once a day but today bottom explosion straight out of sides and back of nappy and so liquid that soaked through vest, babygrow and onto chair! Should she be getting more solid poos if on formula and food now? Well in herself so not concerned generally, just about poo!

well, if she's off her solid food and drinking more water then it sort of makes sense that her poos are more runny.

Also, is she teething? A lot of children get very runny poos when they are teething.

Make sure she drinks lots (which you are doing) and keep and eye on her general health, if you are worried, take her to the gp but I am sure she is fine and will be doing solid poos soon enough.
