Didn't know where to post this . .can someone decide for me the best place to put DD in my car?

I seem to be going around in circles! I have DD aged 6, DS aged 4 and DS on the way (35 weeks pg).

My car (Merc) hasn't room in the back for 3 car seats. It has airbags in the front which can only be turned off by buying special car seats (happy to do this if necessary).

So, new baby in back in isofix carseat, DS in back in high backed booster. DD is best:

a - in back in middle with no booster as it won't fit but with seatbelt (I think this is allowed?)

b - in front with booster and airbag ON

c - in front with booster and airbag OFF

DD is fairly tall for her age - wears M&S aged 7 trousers which fit, not too long or short (I need to measure her really if this makes a difference).

Does anyone know where she would be best sitting?

In front with booster and airbag off would be best. Depending on your car it may be that you can put the seat far enough back that the airbag wouldn't need to be deactivated.

According to this website option a) is viable, and off all of them to be honest is the one I would go for.

Right, I rang some car seat hotline thing for advice and basically the lady said she could do all of the above, but if choosing option b, push chair back as far as poss.

My car has airbags which cannot be turned off without using special car seats which 'talk' to the airbags and disable them. THe lady said she personally wouldn't advise using these carseats anyway, which puts to bed the conversations I have had with Mercedes regarding what I think are their ridiculous so-called 'safety measures' which I believe are just a way of making money (a normal £10 booster seat from Merc with the transponders to turn off the air bag costs £190!).

Still not sre what to do . .
