I am sure my parents used to give me half a tablet.

Anyway, anyone else done this or am I BM (bad mother) for even thinking about it?

He tends to puke on any long car journey, difficult to deal with on the motorway.

go to your gp, my sister couldn't even get to the end of the driveway without being sick in the car and this started when she was only a few months old.

she was given some liquid anti travel sickness medicine which worked well, this was 30 years ago so hopefully there is still something similar around.

I have shared a tablet between my DCs and they really worked.
Don't worry too much!

obviously look at his age and weight and compare it to an average 3 year old...

Is it bad to use these then? I've been giving them to my dd since she was 4 and they've been brilliant. Worked like a dream and she had violent car sickness before...

life saver tablets - we had run out and had a miserable 100 mile trip to suffer last week.

I had car sickness from birth, when old enough I had to take Joy Rides but found they had a strong taste. By this time, I had developed a lot of anxiety around long car journeys and would begin to feel sick before we even set off, so when the tablets were introduced, although they did work, I found them very difficult to take because they had an association with going on a long journey. I wish my parents had thought to change the brand of tablet or medicine though as just imagining the taste still makes me feel sick

I think my point is here they do work but if he doesn't like them try another brand as they have got a very strong taste.

Oh and sea bands are brilliant, I used them from about the age of 14 and escaped the horrible tablets, they are good for morning sickness as well!
