When should I worry about ds(4) wetting himself?

Ds2 was 4 in October. He's been out of nappies since he was 2.5. However, he regularly wets himself - I'd say at least once a day most days but it would be more if we didn't remind him to go to the toilet quite often.

He spends a lot of time playing with lego and things like that and gets really absorbed in it which I think is part of the problem but I thought we'd be past this stage by now?

He's still in pull-ups at night. We have tried without them as I thought it might help him during the day if he was used to never having pull-ups on, but after 2 weeks of him wetting the bed two times each night (and also having a baby who was still up 2/3 times a night) we put him back into the pull-ups.

He's due to start school in August which I know is still a while away but there seems to be no improvement with this. I don't see how I can send him to school whilst he's still wetting.

I'm starting to wonder if it's something I should be worried about and asking for medical advice on. Does anyone else have a similar experience?

Hi, don't worry too much dd4 is nearly 5 she is in pull ups at night and still 'forgets' to go during the day....I send her to school with an extra pair of knickers and trousers and she changes if need be! I think/hope it'll stop completely when she's ready

I think this is very common problem, many of my friends have spoke of it, i think they just grow out of it.
