Well not exactly snowing, but it has been and theres a thin layer of snow on the ground. But it is v cold.

DS is 6 months old and I had it all planned that we would have a lovely day together, just the 2 of us as DH as gone back to work, rather than suffer with post christmas blues.

But then it decided to snow! We are both missing DH loads and I just thought it would be lovely to go swimming as DS loves it so much.Im not silly, will wrap him up warm and make sure he is fully dry when we come out but what would people think! I know my mum certainly wouldnt approve.

Providing you're not planning to swim outside in the snow I would say it's fine

Enjoy!

Kbear · 05/01/2009 11:12

We went yesterday - it was lovely and warm in there! Go go go

ChippyMinton · 05/01/2009 11:13

As long as you don't need to break the ice...

compo · 05/01/2009 11:14

are you driving there and back
if yes I would go
if not and you have to bundle him into a pushchair with wet hair then I'd say no

Cheekster · 05/01/2009 11:26

Just got back, had a lovely time. DS loved it, he has really come on since last time we went. It cheered us both up and now hes snoring away while I have a got cup of tea with rich tea biscuits - heaven

Thankyou all.
