I don't feed DS through his jabs and as I recall, he hasn't popped on to the boob for comfort the other two times BUT is it mean to send him off with DH?

Ha ha - just reread title - I mean breastfed DS rather than boyfriend/bestfriend

Nope! You can be "good cop" when they get back and let ds sulk with daddy!

To be honest, it depends on your DS. I know my DD would only have calmed down with a BF/cuddle from mummy at that age, but if he i more than happy with your DH as comfort then I would say it is fine.

At the end of the day, you know your DS so you will be able to answer that question better than anybody on here.

No, not mean at all. Ds went with dh for a couple of sets of jabs. HVs were all over dh about how woooonderful it was that he was bringing him .

So I'm guessing it isn't that common. And also that our HVs are easily impressed.

Well, I had to take DS for all his jabs as DH was at work, but IIRC he didn't need bf at all for comfort for any of them. Nurse said that it was because he had such chunky thighs

So I'd say he'd prob be fine.

Why? My dcs would have calmed down just as well with their Dad.

No why would it be?
