i picked some up instore on an impulse before i had dd4. been using them when out and about and its a pretty mifty system for a little baby. i dont know how it would hold up with a heavey wetter or older baby, but for a little one who still poo'sw every hour its holding up pretty well. am on the look out for some more covers in medium as they are out of stock online and having problems getting them in from suppliers from what i understand.

Misdee i do believe many other makes of covers would fit like Tots Bots, Motherease, etc.

misdee · 11/12/2008 20:57

it works o na prefold system but has a 'hammock' inside to hold the pad in place, and has 'double leg cuffs' which helps stop the bf-baby poo leaking down their legs.

I take that back, i hadn't appreciated the inner cradle, i thought they were like Bambino Mio.

With BM the make isn't a concern as long as there is a deep gusset for the pad.

Have you looked on eBay?

yes, am bidding on some small covers, but no mediums. dobnt need them yet, but like to be prepared.

i have cotton bottom wraps that i have been using with littlelambs i borrowed from sparklygothkat, but need to get some new wraps as they dont fit over my size ones tots bots, which i prefer at night-times.

just had a look at the system on the website misdee - looks good - a reusable nappy with an option for a disposable pad when out and about.

wasn't there one like this out already? - weenees

Gingerbear · 11/12/2008 21:09

misdee - I have 6 size 1 tot bots, a teeny stuffie nappy and some medium motherease wraps - are you interested?

misdee · 11/12/2008 21:10

yes it remineded ,e of weenees. i have tried the disposable pads (good for when my laundry pile is huge! and in the first weeks when getting used to nappies again), but the wasable pads are ust as good imo for absorbancy. and its all quite slim fitting, as most baby clothes arent cut for clothies, even sleepsuits.

'when i put a TB on dd4 atm her bum ends up higher than her head'

I remember this with DS. Tesco trousers fit well over TBs I have found.

have emailed you - sorry for lousy photos. I need a new camera

Hi i also really like the smart nappy system and think its quite easy to use which is why it's DHs favourite real nappy. They are a lovely slim fit and i haven't had any poo leaks and my DS is bf! The only problem i've come across is that the small/medium resuable pads don't seem to fit the medium wraps as well and have a tendency to come out of the cradle causing occasional 'leaks'.
misdee- i had the same problem locating the medium covers. In the end i went into my local store and they were able to find some at another store (bit of a drive away) who held them for me which was a great help!

If the pound ever recovers its previous glory you can try getting gDiapers from the US. www.gdiapers.com.
