Cloth liner in disposable nappy?

DD is eight weeks and in cloth during the day and disposables at night, partly due to laziness (since she's stopped pooing at night, I've stopped changing her) and partly due to the fact that she's still too little for us to boost her nappies so I don't think a reusable would last all night. However, she does seem to pee a lot and her nappies are often very heavy and pulpy by morning. Because I don't really like it being against her skin and having just read a post of BigBadMousey's saying that a fleece liner keeps them drier than disposables do, I'm wondering whether it's worth putting a fleece liner in her disposable or if that's just a bit nuts. Any advice appreciated!

give it a try and see how it goes.

I had to do it when I went away for a while when DD2 was a littley - disposables gave her bad nappy rash so I plonked a fleece liner inside. It worked in that it stopped the rash but sometimes it ended up hanging outside the nappy - I think that may have been down to my choice of disposable.

Worth a try though
