I might get jumped on here but....

is he unable to sort out a bit of grub for himself and your ds ?

Im not jumping..ha ha

He's a great cook but he's out all day Sat with him - of to Waterworld so thought he may like to get in and just warm something up. Plus I know they will have a lazy sunday just the two of them so again why not just have something to hand so they can spend more time together.

Just need some quick ideas

My DH can't even manage beans on toast, if I leave him to it for any amount of time he just takes the kids to McDonalds! So envious of anyone with a man that cooks!

bella29 · 24/11/2008 21:55

A man, think of something in advance, cook it in advance, warm it up...

Do these men exist?

Where can I get one, please?

One weekend off a year and you still have to prep there food , I think DH should be planning his own food and deciding what yummy things they are going to have. Sorry but he is a grown man and should be able to manage that.

Tortington · 25/11/2008 00:19

ARE...YOU...SHIITTIN ME?

seeker · 25/11/2008 05:55

To be serious, have you thought of the message you are sending to your ds about how men are supposed to be? Give your dh a chance to show his little boy that real men can look after themselves!

Mumi · 25/11/2008 08:11

Your DH would do this for you in return (and without being asked), would he?
