some may remember my original post about which type of nappy to use (MEOS or onelife)
i went with the MEOS, which i am using now, with pop in boosters and disposable liners.
now the absorbancy is ok, but it could do with a small boost to get it to go roughly 3 hours between changes.
so what material is most absorbant? am i better to make my own, or do you know the best place to buy them?
im not too bothered about bulk, as all my daughters clothes are picked with that in mind, also i take the seams out at the sides on clothes too slim fitting (am a dab hand at sewing lol!)
currently using the disposable liners is not going to well, i was a smart nappy user previously (reusable not disposable pads) and the liner would fold into the cradle and didnt really bunch up or move. however i am finding the liner disapears up her backside, and subsequently nappy is then covered in poo
so a switch to fleece is in order i think.
now i would like to make my own, using loads of fleece blankets i have that are looking more and more like liners by the minute.
what shape should i cut them to? is square alright or is an hourglass shape better? do i have to hem the edges will they fray otherwise??
oh and my daughter and son are 18 and 30 months, both in nappies still, so newborn poo not an issue here.
thank you, sorry its a essay
