ok i used reusables with ds until he was about 4 months and then swithched to disposables for a number of reasons.

  1. they were bulky
  2. they leaked all the time
  3. i didnt have myself properly equipped with a bucket or sanitiser so they all went in with normal white wash and ended up with smelly house.
  4. i didnt feel it was fair to ask creche to use them so i ended up buying disposables for them.
  5. if anyone was minding him, i packed disposables for theyre convenience.

i now have a great set of cleaning rags!!!!

but now im expecting again i really want to use them, i feel so guilty about the amount of nappies ive thrown into landfills that will still be there when im long gone, and i really was disappointed in myself for not continuing. maybe i just got a bad make or maybe i just wasnt fixing them on properly, but im determined this time that reusables are the right choice for me and i will make them work. so basically i need to know which is the best for leaks and ease of use i.e; to put on and stay on. i do want to have the right equipment this time so theres no reason for it not to work. also, roughly how much should it all cost?

any help is greatly appreciated.
