Making fleecy liners

We currently use flushable liners and am finding that they are ending up in the wash as DH doesn't throw them out when he changes. Also newborn BF poo just goes straight through them. Is there any particular type of fleece which work best? or Just normal old fleece remanents from the fabric shop?

TIA

Yes, normal fleece. It's very easy and will work out really cheap. I don't think I bothered with them for bf poo though.

I use them for bf DS because they act as a stay dry layer as well as a liner. Sometimes poo goes through them a little but not like you get with flushables. I don't like flushables as they seem to hold the wetness against the skin (plus my crew are allergic to all but the most expensive ones anyway!)

Hope this is not too late but I recommend that you get a cheapie fleece blanket from IKEA. I did it and it worked out ALOT cheaper than buying fleece from a fabric shop.

do as Broguemum suggested, IKEA blanket a lot cheaper, this was enough for 2 pouch slings and about 10 liners...

Tescos microfleece cloths (in cleaning section)
