Every age!Although I mourn the passing of each phase, convinced at the time it was my favourite, I find myself doing the same year after year. Ds is now 7 and tells me jokes, we go on exploring holidays together, ride our bikes and he still wants to marry me

Lets hopw I am saying teh same when he is 14, 15....

Hmm, now it seems at 2.3 that we have a pattern of naughty/grumpy phases alternating with sweet and funny...
But I must say my first and therefore most memorable "favourite" phase was between 10-14 months. When he was so proud and delighted with new skills, and so smiley, and before he learnt that actually, if I don't want to go somewhere mummy's leading me I can just buckle my legs and refuse to walk!

I'm completely in love with ds1 at the moment - he's 6 nearly 7 and it's wonderful. We're past all the exhausting baby stuff, through the tantrums and into lots of questions about things and seeing him develop and question everything is just fab.

And ds2's not so bad for a 4 year old!

Newborns, and 5-8 year olds. My oldest is 8 so I can't say beyond that.

dd3 was pretty lovely from birth to 2.5, but grim for the year after that.

Currently loving the toddler phase (ds is nearly 2) even though it takes hours to get anywhere or do anything like getting him dressed. Birth to 12 months was a trial and I wondered if I'd made a huge mistake .

it's so interesting how we find different stages difficult.

I have loved every stage so far, I couldn't possibly pick a favourite.

Last Tuesday was pretty good though, ds was 4.5 and a bit.
