very very slender, only 79 cms tall.

I think she has a dislocated hip but gp not listening. She has a slight limp and an extra crease in one leg. She has only been walking less than a month.

She was in disp last week as i was working and my friend had her. She actually was able to walk better, back in cloth now and is swaying again.

What to do?

Itti Bitti D'Lish is about as thin as they come. They hold up pretty well and are probably THE cutest nappies on the planet. But can't quite cope with DS2 on a good day. Won't stop me getting a few small, then medium when DS3 gets here!

They seem to sell for pretty close to full price second hand and don't come up very often. I would get new. And sell them on when you are done/if you don't like them. Make sure you get the mini snap-in booster (it is extra). A full set of extra snap-in boosters wouldn't go amiss - the outers dry really quickly but the bamboo boosters take a while.

My DD2 is tiny too and I don't like the big bum look so we use Ellas House Day Nappies boosted with a microfibre dishcloth plus an airflow wrap over the top - works very well.

Do you have a tumble drier?

liahgen · 13/11/2008 16:13

yes i have tumble. Is that different to bumhugger then?

On someone so dinky a small one from here would be ideal. They have fairly long tabs on, even in a small size, and are absorbent. Otherwise itty bittis really are itti bitti
You're not worried about the leg creases are you?

BigBadMouse · 13/11/2008 20:59

Oh yes, the day nappy is very thin and not fleece lined. The popper fit is better than the aplix. You'll need to tumble them for 5-10 mins to keep them soft ideally.

If you want to try one I have loads here and can spare one - I don't mind sending you one to try out if you like?

I agree kiwis are worth a try too.

needaholiday,

thank you. I am worried as it happens. I think she has developmental hip dsyplacia. Am seeing gp on tuesday. Been reading up on it, and fits her to a T. Prob need an operation, she's so little. I hope i'm just a neurotic mother. (don't think so though, she's 5th child, never had probs before)

Thanks for all your suggestions, am having early night so wil begin shopping tomorrow. x
