euch

why couldn't they make pink jelly?

angel delight is the pits

compo · 11/11/2008 19:19

ooh yum

sounds a great nursery though although they could have done pink fairy cakes or something!

Reminds me of that Gervais Phinn poem :

We?ve been baking in class today,
Would you like my last jam tart?
It?s funny how clean my hands are now.
They were dirty at the start

Never EVER eat anything the children have made at school or nursery. NEVER. EVER.

LOL at soupdragon I always used to tell DS1 I was full up and would have it after I'd had my dinner (me & DH eat after the kids are in bed), then throw it away Dreadful mummy

yummy, i love angel delight. We eat things dd brings home from nursery, apart from the bread she made mondey that was as hard as a rock (even the dog couldn't bite it), dd's nursery is strict on hand washing.

DS1 has chicken pox and I made banana flavour as a treat for him last night (had a nostalgic packet in the cupboard). Neither DS1 or 2 would eat it (which is unusual cos normally they jump on shit like that, I blame the pox) so I did. Blurk! I'm SURE it was MUCH nicer when I was little. Mind you that was the 70s and sweets were generally tastier (and more colourful) then.

Last summer my 14 year old dd informed me they were making chocolate torte in DT ( cooking) and she needed digestive biscuits, butter, milk & a packet of chocolate angel delight. Yet another school cookery concoction made for the bin.
