DS is naked.

He stays naked most weekends

CuppaTeaJanice · 25/10/2008 11:46

No, I haven't washed or cleaned my teeth yet.

lljkk · 25/10/2008 11:52

DS2 is dressed, he jumps out of bed and demands it.
I doubt the others (age 7+9) will get out of their PJs all weekend, if they canhelp it.

Nope dd1 is actually complaining that she's still in her pjs (she's 2 btw)

BloodRedTulips · 25/10/2008 11:58

mine are dressed only because our igloo house has no heating and it's too cold for pjs, i refused to put clean clothes on them though, i salvaged not very dirty clothes they'd worn during the week

took a shower myself but i admit it was only in a vain bid to get warm!

wish i'd stayed in bed, it's stormy and wet out so we won't be leaving the house, i can't afford the coal to have the fire going all day and the electric heater does nothing!

i think i'm developing frostbite and the kids have been watching dora for hours now...... come to think of it, why on earth has dora been on for hours [considers that she may need to actually start [paying attention to childrens soon.... decides to bake a cake instead to warm the kitchen]

bikerunski · 25/10/2008 12:53

No you're not alone , btu remarkably, I have time to MN!

Morloth · 25/10/2008 12:54

Its 1pm we are all in our jarmies, its Saturday - the one day of the week we don't need to be anywhere.

MrsWeasleySupportsVoldemort · 25/10/2008 12:57

BloodRedTulips: Bake a cake (just to keep the oven on, of course ) then do jacket potatoes in the oven as an excuse to keep the oven on even longer (whilst you eat the cake )

ceebee74 · 25/10/2008 12:59

DS was still in his PJ's until about an hour ago and I only got him dressed as he is going to MIL's.

Me, on the other hand, is still in my PJ's and I can't be bothered going to get dressed

SummatAnNowt · 25/10/2008 13:50

Don't see the point of getting dressed if you're not going anywhere and no-one is coming round!

MollyCherry · 25/10/2008 14:25

My DD is 4 and we have a pyjama day about once a fortnight (or weekly if I can get away with it )

Monkeyblue · 25/10/2008 14:27

DS is still in P.js
I have only just got dressed

DS dressed
3 dd's in various states of undress
1 dd in a princess dress .
Me eating chocolate and drinking tizer whilst letting girls eat fizzy cola bottles and watch babe .
house a mess ,but lovely cosy and calm until the sugar kicks in probably .

sunnygirl1412 · 25/10/2008 14:43

The only reason that I'm dressed is that ds2's friend came over and stayed for lunch - I wasn't too fussed about sitting at the table drinking coffee and doing the samurai sudoku, but felt I ought to make the effort for lunch.

When mine were pre-school age it used to take me ages to get me and them dressed every day - unless we were going somewhere. I well remember sitting in my nightshirt, with ds's in their pj's, watching all the mums walking their kids to school, and wondering how on earth I was ever going to be organised enough to get us all out of the house in time for school, when the time came!

If the kids are warm, clean(ish) and dry, then there's no problem at all imo. You deserve a day off!

BloodRedTulips · 25/10/2008 14:59

mrsweasley.... i like the way you think

have just realised dd's hair hasn't been brushed since yesterday morning she's still got the half plait in she had for playschool!

FlameThrowersKillZombies · 25/10/2008 18:41

DS now has pjs on.

His only outfit for the day

yummymummy1405 · 25/10/2008 20:48

still in my pj's now!!!!! Have just not changed today - bliss!

yummybunnymummy · 25/10/2008 20:49

i firmly believe a pj day day is a great thing...i don't get out of pj's either...the kids and me would enjoy a really easy day at home and not worry about going out, wonderful! although ds1 is now at school so don't have the opportunity now!

haven't brushed my hair today....

spicemonster · 25/10/2008 20:52

We did get dressed but then we got wet and grubby in the garden so unfortunately had to get into our pjs. We were very sad about that
