I gave chocolate coins every time ds went on the potty, and when he did a no.2 it was a super large chocolate coin
He cracked it fairly quickly so no problems here

Milky way stars worked a treat in this household. Only needed to use them for a week or two.

i was worried id have to start rewarding dd-8 and ds1-7 every time they went for a wee too but luckily theyre being very understanding

We have moved effortlessly from a sticker for every wee () to a piece of chocolate when she gets through a whole day with no accidents.

Surfermum · 21/10/2008 17:08

I used stickers. One for her and one on the potty. Worked for us. At that age I didn't really want to use sweets as a reward.

Cheesesarnie · 21/10/2008 17:11

we did the sticker thing at the beginning before it went wrong so i think hes not really impressed with stickers now.i dont want to use sweets really but.....

Smarties for 1.5 week, worked a treat!

poorbuthappy · 21/10/2008 17:12

I'll clarify - 1 smartie per wee, 2 per poo...

Surfermum · 21/10/2008 17:20

What about a sticker chart with a reward at the end of it? I used to do that for dd and when she'd got 5 stickers or whatever she'd get to go and choose a book from the charity shop.

Cheesesarnie · 22/10/2008 11:18

might try that if this doesnt work(this is working atm so dont want to change it).do you mean 1 sticker per wee then a book-what if he has ten wees in a day-2 books?i do love the idea of if hes doing well getting book at end of the week.
