Leaking fluffles with motherease - what do I do?

My 20 month old dd has been in fluffles with nappi nippa with motherease wraps the whole time. The only problem that seems to have surfaced recently, stopped and now started again was leaking from the back of the legs.

I've got her in the large wrap and I'm pretty sure she is not 35lbs - which is the recommended weight to go one size up again. I'm not sure whether I should get a bigger wrap or if it is just that she is weeing more?

Also she has started to show some interest in the potty, although not used it yet, so if I do buy the wraps then it could be a waste of money.

Bit unsure on how to tell where to go with this. Any advice please oh mners?

Are you using the Rikki or the airflow?

If you are getting leaks I would doubt you would need a bigger wrap. Usually leaks on a Motherease mean the wrap is too big.

There is the possibility that you need to boost the nappy more than previously - is the nappy sodden when you take it off?

Although I don't think you need bigger wraps - if you did want to get some then I would recommend buying second hand if you thought you wouldn;t need them for long. If you only keep them for a short while chances are you could sell them on for what you originally paid for them - same goes for the popular boosters.

That said my DDs started to show interest in the potty at about 18m but DD1 didn't train until she was 3.1 and DD2 isn't there yet at 2.5....that's not to say things might be very different for you though

Is it everytime? Could it be something silly like a bit of liner sticking out of the wrap?

I find airflow have never leaked even when really soaking - do boost at night.

You could always try a different wrap style. We always had problems with any wrap with a gusset in the legs, and/or binding so we switched to wraps from here and have had no leaks at all, even overnight.

Just a thought- do you get leaks when she has been sitting down for a while or do they happen whatever she's doing? If it's only when sitting it might be the wee squeezing out of the fluffle fabric? Could possibly be solved with a hemp or bamboo booster between the fluffle and the wrap?
