Due to doll size proportions of our bedrooms, contemplating purchase to cabin bed/mid sleeper for dd1. They look pretty pricey though. Can anyone recommend a good supplier?

My dd has got a mid-sleeper from argos which is really well made, it comes with pink and purple curtains underneath and a little fabric turret and also a slide but you can get it without the slide. It is a bit pricey at £350 but well worth it.Or you could pick one up on e-bay for about £100. They also do a boys one with blue and green curtains.

I think its cheaper than that without the slide.

I store all my dd,s toys underneath as we have small rooms too. You can shut the curtains and it keeps the room looking tidy.

We used these people www.bedzrus.co.uk for our dd's Scallywag bed. Yes, it was pricey but it's very solid, and over a year on she's still delighted with it.

The service was good, delivery was exactly when they said it would be and 2 fit adults built the whole thing in a half a day. You do need to be pretty good at following flat-pack instructions though - I can imagine some families having a few problems and a lot of shouting

I loved my cabin bed, I had it from the age of 13 up to, just under 2 years ago (16) and the only reason I parted with it was because I was too big (lengthways and weight-wise) and it started to buckle. I can't remember how much mine was though, was from argos.

Hi there,
My parents bought a Thuka midsleeper set for my younger brother a couple of years back.
It is top quality and still as sturdy as it was when bought.
It has the swivel desk, chest etc...
The guys they bought it from now have a website. www.mykidsbed.co.uk
The Thuka range seems to be perfect for those tight on space.
Have recommended the Thuka bed to a friend who is well impressed!
Hope this helps.

Ikea do a mid sleeper that is under £200. My DS has it. I hate it personally (just the fact that it is up high not that specific one) and am going to get him a normal bed.

We got a Uno Stompa with a desk and another pull out bed underneath and it's FAB. Best of all we got it on Freecycle and it was FREE! Always loads of beds on there so even if you just get the frame it's well worth it.
