When will DS start to sleep longer between feeds?

Yes I know - how long is a piece of string. he's 12 weeks and on a good night goes 2.5 hours and on a bad night he's up every hour.

I realise that this won't last forever but I was just wondering when I can start to look forward to longer stretches of sleep....possibly.

My advice on this subject is to take any notions of milestones, and anybody telling you "It gets better at 3 months/4 months/6 months" etc and forget them!

It's all lies. Babies get better when they get better. If you're lucky, it'll be soon.

If you're not, well, get back to me and I'll give you some real advice on handling sleep deprivation

My Ds was going 3 hourly at 12 weeks and then suddenly started going a bit longer at about 15 weeks. He's 21 weeks now and sleeps 9pm til 7.30am with a dream feed at 10.30pmish. I can't for the love of money get him to go to sleep in the evenings before 8.30pm. He is just wide awake no matter how little ( or how much) he has slept in the afternoon. He does seem to cluster feed alot during 7 - 9. He's bf but I do top him up with a little formula at 10.30 (always feel I've run dry by then.) I don't think the formula makes any difference to him sleeping longer though. If he hasn't done the cluster feeding bit then I can guarantee he'll shout at 4am!

Anyway I'm rambling! It will get better and you can guarantee that first night he sleeps a bit longer you'll go running in to check he's still breathing!
