Ds1 is 4, he is dry 99% of time durning the day. But nowhere near at night. I have been using pampers size 6 for ages then changed to Huggies pyjama pants ages 4-7.

The pants don't hold enough and for three mornings on the trot he has needed a complete change of bedding.

Last night he woke at 2am and need a complete change.

I have reverted back to the pampers but he is going to outgrow them very soon.

What can I use? He is a heavy wetter and a heavy sleeper and I have stopped drinks in the evening, I am not looking to get him dry.

thank you

if the pyjama pants age 4-7 are not good enough, try the next size up, or, something like the motherease bedwetter pants. they are washable, and five years ago cost 17 ounds each. i bough ttwo, so that i wouldbt have to be washing and drying one befoer enighttime.
and accept your wasing machine as your best friend.

thanks stitch - my washing machine is always a friend here, with no.4 on the way it always has something to wash - I just rather it wasn't ds1's bedding every day

Tesco own brand nappies Size 6 (Baby Essentials Ultra Dry, green packaging) are larger than the Pampers Size 6, good fit & absorbent too. Tried them recently after reading a tip from someone on here - thanks! I pop a Motherease XL trainer pant or wrap over the top 'just in case' - another MN suggestion. This has drastically reduced our laundry.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/10/2008 22:10

hey oooggs, M is still in nappies at night, pampers and huggies size 6 too small, pjama pants not absorbant enough.

Tesco own brand size 6 just about fit and hold it all in, give them a try!

Hi Oooggs! We used to use Bambo trainer pants with N aged 4 and they were pretty good (much more absorbent than pajama pants). I have some left here you could try if you want - I could post them to you? Actually I also have some size 6 pampers and something else called "baby star" in size 6 that a friend gave me if either you or POTC can use them?

throckenholt · 06/10/2008 10:17

lidl junior ones - they are the most absorbant I find.

oooggs · 06/10/2008 10:58

Bramshott that would be fab - thank you - I will email you
