Be nice to hear opinions and experiences of a range of systems so that we can share our (your) expertise ladies!!!!

I don't think there's one best system for everyone. All babies are differently shaped and people have different lifestyles.

However, I have yet to hear a bad review of the Easy Peasy range. And they're reasonably priced too

MrsBadger · 28/09/2008 16:44

Ceolas is right in that it's dependent on yoru lifestyle (inc how you dry them)

but I do like the Easy Peasy two-parters

Nippas + wriggly 12mo are challenging me atm though

Ceolas · 28/09/2008 16:53

MrsB while you are here... Are you up to size 2 Bimbles yet? We've been flirting with other makes as DD was out-weeing the size 1s. Wondering if the size 2s are more absorbent?

Sorry for hijack rusmum!

Ceolas what size ones go up to (bimbles)

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 28/09/2008 21:18

yes, swapped to them for day at the beginning of the summer
had been using them at night for a while before as she was outweeing the size 1s and they'd got too snug to get a booster in.

What else are you considering?

Miyazaki · 28/09/2008 21:21

I use a mix of pocket nappies (bumgenius and fuzzies mainly) and at night boosted fluffles with a wool wrap. She hardly wees at night so don't need anything more.

Ceolas · 28/09/2008 21:25

What am I not considering?!

Have obtained a bit of a single nappy collection...

Ceolas · 28/09/2008 21:37

I had lost faith in the Bimbles but stupidly never considered the larger size would be more absorbent. Don't like Bumbles at all.

Have tried in the last month:
Onelife
ME Sandys
Little Lamb microfleece and bamboo
tots bots cotton
Modern baby pop in
Bumgenius
EP Bambeasy

(mostly second hand bargains, in my defence!)

But I don't love any of them as much as I loved the Bimbles...

MrsBadger · 28/09/2008 21:47

I had £5 end-of-line joy from BooCoo but they're still only £5.60 full price. Get one and try it...

Washersaurus · 28/09/2008 21:54

I loved the Bimbles but never had any bigger sized ones - my very reliable collection is made up of Tots bots cotton (for night use), Diddy diapers (cheap & reliable - but take a while to dry), MEO's (for nursery/change bag use).

I didn't like Bumbles at all, not one bit...

Ceolas · 28/09/2008 21:58

Size 2s only available in poppers now. Alas.

Will definitely get one though

Ceolas · 28/09/2008 22:00

The Bumbles are weirdly stretchy round the waist imo

And I like the overlocked seams on the outsides of the Bimbles. Seems more snug round the legs.

MrsBadger · 28/09/2008 22:16

I prefer the fit of the bimbles too - I have a few Bumbles (secondhand or bargains) and find them bulky and clumsy, so save them for night when they'll be boosted so'll look ungainly anyway.

Washersaurus · 28/09/2008 22:20

Clumsy is EXACTLY the word I would use to describe them Mrs B. Some people seem to love them though...

Ceolas · 28/09/2008 22:25

Clumsy, yes! Couldn't imagine them on a newborn

MrsBadger · 28/09/2008 22:27

well functionally they are ace, and tbh once you have a wrap over the top the look doesn't matter

but they are a bit of a blunt tool, as it were

rusmum · 29/09/2008 10:20

ceolas you have tried every nappty imaginable!!! Should write reviews!! LOL decided what you going with??

Still deciding what i want as cb not going too well.

How often you change baby?? maybe i going to long didnt think so though.

Ceolas · 29/09/2008 11:56

rusmum, I'm not the worst on here!

Ordered a size 2 Bimble (oh, and some bargain size 2 organic tots bots from Amazon!) so I'll see how we get on...

babyjjbaby · 29/09/2008 12:45
