I have used them on holiday - the outer pants are lovely and soft and fab colours. Use a disp pad or microfibre or prefold in the pouch. I started using them too late - ds2 was too big and they were like hipsters - but have fitted ds3 well. Similar concept to the mothercare smart nappy - prefer weenees though.

They'd be great if they worked.

Pouch leaks onto outer most times and outer can only be washed at 30C. Not very absorbant either.

They are a lovely neat fit though and look like CK underpants

Do you want to buy some?

All australian products have 30 on - washed mine at 40 no problem.

Octo - I'm sure the ones I have in my trial kits have been washed at 60C - doubt very much the new mums took the time to read the labels on each nappy and they are advised to wash at 60C.

Mine came from freecycle too! - I really like the look of them but very much doubt they will cope with super-weeing DS. What size do you want - I have two pairs here I think (but they are dark blue and turquoise).

Of course (can't even remember my own name tonight ) - they are second size for sure as I have put them in with DS's bigger clothes.

The mothercare smart nappy is quite similar (not as nice looking though) and a bit more reliable IME as it has let gussets and a deeper pouch.

I have a couple pairs of the American version (gDiapers) and they leak something fierce. The biodegradable inserts are thoroughly useless; not very absorbent and they bunch up between the legs of a mobile child and that causes severe leaks. They worked a lot better with cloth inserts, but it wasn't too long before even the Large size leaked every single time with my DS before he was even 30 lb.

I'm about to visit family in the States and have seen a lot of very positive reviews of the gdiapers system, which are a bit of a contrast to a 2008 post on here about them leaking "something fierce". Does anyone know if gdiapers has had a redesign in the last couple of years, or has anyone used this nappy system recently?
