I'm not sure where ds2 (9) is! I guess I probably ought to go and look for him.

Oh dear, we really are well into the realms of relaxed, laidback holiday atmosphere.

ds1 (11) just asked where ds2 is, and neither dh or I know
ds1 doesn't think he's in the house, but he does sometimes hide places.

We both have a vague memory of him saying a while back that he was going to call on some friends in the street to see if they wanted to play. I can't really remember though whether he went or not, and whether he came back

I was watching the rugby and wasn't really concentrating.

Ah yes... summer holidaysitis!

notasheep · 27/07/2008 17:09

he will be back when he is hungry!

lol this made me laugh.

We have just started giving my nearly 9 year old some more freedom and she is allowed to play out and go on her bike.

The first day I was a neurotic mess, hovering around insisting she came back every 3 minutes to let me know she was still alive.

Then very quickly I got very used to it and just presume that she will come back when she is hungry!!

I do not have any trouble finding my lot when I allow them to play out......they are so noisy I can find them a mile off (well, I reckon I could, have yet to try the theory).

seriously, let the psycho crew out and the street knows!!!

I went and found him in the end. He was at a mate's house playing in their garden

I love summer!
