Best treatment for cradle cap?

My little one is three months old now and is suffering from cradle cap. Does anyone have any advice on treatments or products i should be using?

Rachelandjem, try margerine that will solve the problem, ds had it really bad an old lady told me to use it. yes his head smelt of margerine but it did the job. It all cleared up, just gently comb her hair after a couple of hour's.

countessd - have been meaning to come back to this thread for ages to thank you for the aveeno tip.

after 4m - yes 4 whole months! - of the olive oil/dentinox shampoo/fine tooth combing regime, aveeno cream cleared up dd's cradle cap in 2 days.

Lapsedgymjunkie - me too! Have just realised that is what is lurking under DD's hair (she has loads). Read up about it and it said you could just leave it so I have. Don't know if I would feel the same if it was visible though!

Sorry, not much help. Just wanted to add that you don't have to get rid of it if it's not bothering you. It doesn't bother the child.
