the course?the funding etc?

Can't help much as it's changed since I got my degree. I had a GNVQ Advanced with distinction in Health and Social Care and a B grade A level in Sociology. I think the mature students on the course had done an access course.

Not 100% sure but I think you get a bursary now. Have a look on this site here if you haven't already.

I completed the post grad course 3 years ago. Qualifications on entry were a social sciences degree and relevent work experience.

I recieved a bursary of around £7000 per year. I think the undergrad course would be funded by student loans (it is in Scotland anyway).

Great course, two work placements were included. Plenty of work available when you qualify too.

im in scotland. Its the guarantee of work and my work background that makes it appealling to me.

I am currently doing a social work degree, I did an access course and some voluntary work to get in.
I get a non means tested bursary from the GSCC of £4500 plus a student loan. I also have a fee loan from the student loan company.
