Does anyone have a clever solution to my nap time / potty training problem?

Either I gently suggest we put a nappy on for a nap and she gets furiously worked up because (a) she doesn't want a nappy on, and (b) she really really doesn't want a nap. . No point wrestling one on her - she'd be too worked up to sleep.

Or, she goes to sleep in the car / pushchair and I lift her into bed. Fine. But when I try and put a nappy on her asleep she wakes up and is furious and won't go back to (much needed) sleep.

I think she does need one because there's always a wee in nap-time nappy when she wakes.

With dd I just put a terry square under her (with a plastic bag under that) but she sleeps in her pushchair so is easier to ensure it stays under her iyswim. I have found recently that she is now 50% dry at nap times too.

Maybe a waterproof bed sheet & a towel would work??

Yeah waterproof bedsheet. They get fed up of waking up all wet and learn not to do it.

Sometimes they do just wee in sleep though I think

I do wonder if she might be weeing as soon as she wakes and I need to be speedier with reminding her to sit on the potty.

Trouble is she's grumpy as hell when she wakes (see my other thread) so gentle potty suggestions don't go down well.

Letting her wee in her bed seems harsh somehow.
