I have the Spanish for my 2 DS's - 4.5 and 6, they enjoy watching it and are starting to recognise the words. You get several CDs, vocab builder and text book. Also a CD rom with games which they really enjoy. I can't say that they are suddenly fluent but they definitely show an interest and want to watch the DVDs. I can see that as they start to learn language at school it will be a useful tool. It is quite expensive but they seem to have a lot of special offers, I got sent a discount offer and 30day trial thing. Have to say that DS2 prefers watching the English version, but funnily enough he is the one who seems to have picked up more Spanish. Whenever we are ready to go out now he always says "Vamanos, Mummy!"

As a former languages teacher, I'd say they're a waste of money. A stint in a foreign country at the appropriate age is worth a zillion Muzzys!

We tried out the German Muzzy level 1 and 2 and found them not to be worth their money!

The quality of the sound is terrible, the story very boring and I found lots of the terms used quite old fashioned.

We have since bought German dvds at amazon.de and found them, together with visits to German speaking countries, a much better and more fun way to improve our children's German.

Ive not tried them but a few of my friends I know prefer to send their kids to after school classes/clubs like Jolie Ronde as they feel a proper classroom environment is much better than learning with Mum at home as they would most probably get distracted!!!

I borrowed the french ones from a friend and I found them great... as far as they went but very limited. Def not worth the money.
