dd has SN and I am currently attempting some toilet training (She will point to toilet and has done several sucessful wees on it before going in bath in the evenings).I now need a downstairs potty.A bog standard potty is too small, she has long legs and AFOS and cannot sit comfily on a normal potty.Has anyone seen a potty that would be suitable ie taller or more "Toilet like" if this makes sense???TIA,wRINKLY

This kind of thing?

I have something similar, but it is very old and doesn't do rewards.

Thanks,Jas,the first one may be promising. TBH The rewards bit is irrelevant as dd can't real conceptualise that much She is very pleased when we clap her for doing a wee but would not pester for stickers or sweets, bless her.

We use a Baby Bjorn potty chair for DD(SN too) as it's higher than the standard ones yet doesn't take up too much space. I know John Lewis stock them & there's another on their site which looks interesting.

My DD is 3 but the size of the average 5 year old - she uses this potty chair from Mothercare

we were given a potty chair by dd2's occupational therapist - it has arms and a back to help with stability and can be put to the appropriate height for the child. dd2 loves it!

we have a baby bjorn potty chair too. It's brilliant and has lasted for 9 years so far so they're worth their money.
