Anyone else out there with 3 under 5?
I have a just turned 4 year old, a just turned 3 year old and a 4 month old and I literally feel run ragged every single second of every day.
i did/do have a fairly successful career but I can’t fathom how I go back to work this time with the amount of energy it takes to just survive. Screen time is creeping up, I’m so done with the toddlers as soon as they appear in the morning, I can barely keep my eyes open most of the time (wine is NOT helping).
would just love to hear from anyone who has trodden a similar road….does it get harder? Easier?
And that’s before the financial woes that I am anticipating as they grow older…..I just feel constantly overwhelmed.

I just need some adult reassurance or reality!

I had 3 year 10 months, 13 months and new born (plus older ones)

The first year was hard work. I did wonder what have I done a few times…. All you can do is just keep going.

It will definitely definitely get easier. I always found 4 months a hard age. 4 months on very little sleep is seriously tough.

Don't beat yourself up screens on anything else you have to do to get through. I know not every one’s thing but toddler groups were a godsend for me. Everyone always wanted to cuddle the baby and it was a reasonably safe environment to have a coffee in peace.

My 3 youngest are now 15,12 and 11 and I very rarely see them before 9 at the weekends. Although there are lots of other fun and games to deal with at least I do it on a decent nights sleep (most days!)

At one point I had a 10 yr old, 7 yr old, 4 yr old, 2 yr old and a newborn! It was pretty relentless and looking back it's a bit of a blur - just getting through each day trying to get everything done and collapsing into bed at the end of it! DH worked away in the week so I did all school runs, all bedtimes, all night wakings etc etc

It does get better. I had a pretty strict routine in the week and as each one went to school, I had a tiny bit more freedom and free time. I didn't return to work until youngest started reception though!
