Drinking cup/bottle

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good water water bottle/cup/flask for an 18 month old?

We've tried the munchkin 360 cups and they're fine until she launches it on the floor and then it's very much not anti-spill anymore. And we've tried the tinned tippee insulated active straw cup but the suction on the straw seems to work intermittently.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

We just used the Tommee Tippee sippy cups till they started in the doidy cups.

At 18 months I'd just use any normal bottle with an open spout or straw. Toddler will learn not to tip after a few days/weeks. Or a normal sport bottle (the kind with the the harder plastic nipple that you lift to open and push down to close). Toddler can open it and you can push it closed after to prevent spilling.

Doidy open cup
Klean Kanteen sippy spout bottle
They also do a metal munchkin 360 now - I'm not sure if it's any sturdier but surely should be?

In my experience, the flip up spout Tommee Tippee ones are best whilst they need a lidded cup. I would start trying them on a plastic cup without a lid at 18 months. Using a cup without a lid helps her to see the consequences of throwing her cup more clearly and should help to discourage her.
For out and about, most toddlers are fine with a normal pop up sports bottle lid or the twist up sistema ones
