Toddler eating well at nursery but refusing meals at home

were on week 4 of not eating at home and I really don’t know what to do .

my son 19 months eats fine at nursery and grandparents houses ( eats pasta , bolognese , cottage pie , beef stew ect as long as it’s mushed up )

but at home will only eat toast, rice crispies , grated cheese , mini sausage rolls and cocktail sausages and chips .

he used to be an amazing eater and eat everything but veg ( I used to blend it in sauces to get his veg in) but since we went on holiday 3 weeks ago and returned home he will not eat for us at home.

he’s had no sickness or scary food experiences so I’m really u sure what has caused it .

his nursery say he eats lots but is picky with texture so will spit out bits from yoghurts or will make them smush up food some more if it’s quite thick ( he never needed this before holiday this has developed after )

he’s at home with me 4 days a week and I cannot get him to eat anything other than I listed above .

ive made the same meals I know he used to absolutely love before all of this started and he just says no and pushes the plate away won’t even try any of it .

i called the gp and health visitor and they sent me a leaflet on fussy eating but said unless he starts to lose weight it’s not really an issue but my mum brain cannot cope with this .

he wakes up x3 a night unless we let him co sleep with us and is going through some sort of hitting / throwing toy phase so this on top is just a nightmare .

my first born was the complete opposite and I never had any of this

any tips ?

signed from a very exhausted mum .

He’s probably filled up earlier in the day or in usual nursery style, hasnt actually eaten half the stuff they say . Theres also something in them knowing the times they’ll get a nicer alternative if they complain or having to suck it up and eat what’s there because it’s that or nothing!

He’s eating those things because you’re giving them to him. He’s never getting to actually be hungry because he can have toast and chips if he holds out.
