Suspected CMPA! Snack ideas!!!!

My 6 yr old is unbelievably fussy and a very limited eater. I suspect he may have a CMPA so I’m planning on cutting it out of his diet to see if anything improves.
Does anyone have any snack ideas for lunch boxes/on the go? Im already stressed as to what im going to get him to eat as MP is in virtually everything 😭

Just realised I’ve posted in the adult board, I have asked for it to be moved 😊.
But any wisdom would be appreciated!

Sorry but why would you do this at 6yrs old? If it was bad enough you'd have intervened before now surely? I suspected CMPA with my baby and my GP told me absolutely not to cut dairy out of my diet when I was BF. It can make intolerances worse.

He did have a CMPA when he was a baby but then I managed to work it in his diet. Approx 10 months ago he randomly, overnight, started with chronic diorehha. The paediatrician has ruled a lot out but you cannot test for a CMPA, you just have to stop it in your diet.
As he’s such a limited eater, I was hesitant in going CMP free as his diet is going to be even smaller now. I did stop it for a couple weeks last year but want to try giving it another go for longer as I just don’t know what could be causing this and it’s really bothering him.

Any suggestions for basic meals, lunch boxes and snacks etc very much appreciated.

Has paediatrician advised eliminating dairy? I’d be concerned about cutting out a big food group if he’s already limited, unless medical advised.

They suggested cutting food with cows milk protein, not all dairy.

Have a look at foods that are “accidentally vegan”. Things like individual soreen bars, lots of the cheaper biscuits are DF like ginger nuts or bourbons, Oreo’s are too. Then there are nuts.

For meals I’d have a look at what he likes eating now and we can see if we can make suggestions of how to make those things DF. I like a roast dinner and I was happy when I discovered that Bisto Best is DF Smile
