Bugaboo Butterfly 2 or Joolz Aer2 for a one-year-old?

I'm stuck between the above two prams. My baby is turning a year this weekend and I'd like it to replace our larger system for the majority of the time (unless we plan a day out on rough terrain!). I much prefer the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 in the shop including the the basket size, how the straps fasten, the mechanism used to recline the seat (over the zip used on the joolz) and the peekaboo window. My only concern is that there's seems to be a lot of comments online that the joolz is a lot better and that some people have had issues with the Bugaboo tipping, particularly when their child is laying down. Has anyone had/used both and can give their opinion on which is best? Or if you have the Bugaboo butterfly 2 have you had the tipping issue or any other issues?

Thanks so much!

I have Joolz aer + not 2 tho, my sister had Bugaboo Butterfly and personally I hated it. It had a bit bigger basket but it’s heavier and harder to fold with one hand.I would definitely go with Joolz, it feels lighter and I never wound any problem with a zip recliner.

I tried a few Bugaboo prams when we were pram shopping and found they all felt really flimsy. But I know lots of people who love them, it really is personal preference.

Can you get to a baby store to try them in person?

The frame on that Joolz is a bit of a pain. Because of the join in the frame so it can fold, if you push down on the handlebar (to raise the wheels to go up a kerb etc), the thing just doesn’t move…well, it might pivot but I feel like the chassis would break. So, you end up having to put a foot on the bottom bar and pivoting that way.

If you plan on having another, the bassinet and Nest to Seat for that Joolz is amazing, however. We got this pram for a holiday and it was great, but for everyday use, I think I’d do the Bugaboo
